Default Predicting the new FOTM build

Any1 have any idea? Since ranger bow attacks didn't get nerfed almost at all, i guess they are still in business even if only one order enchant is present. Barrage or the plain old spike with constant fw and winnow.

So let's hear it... what is still possible, what is now possible and what will be trandy in some days/weeks

It's kind of hard to say at the moment because there's going to be a bigger update next week (march 7th). I'd put my money on seeing more elementalist spikes and possibly something to do with mesmers (yes im guessing mesmers are gonna be the next "big thing")

Go to Tombs Int Dis 1 and you'll find a load of people discussing all the changes... and a few W/Rs looking around helplessly

A lot of people are saying beastmaster builds are gonna rise.

I see no changes to the Blood necro spike. Got some buffs from the monk side though.

This build will most likely take HoH now.

GvG dunno yet.

Yeah I hope there's no FoTM build coming up. Hopefully things will go smoothly and people will start accepting mesmers and necromancers other than order and tainted builds.

Although they nerfed IWAY, I bet people will still be using it regardless. It still has a 25% increased speed, so it's not totally shot.

Whatever it is, it'll be fun to see, and funny to watch all the previous IWAYers jump on the new bandwagon.

I'm thinking with the nerf to mend ailment we may see an increase in the number of mass degen via conditions. Then again I don't think they touched mend condition, it does the same thing but not able to target self. I'm not so sure on the new FOTM, but I like how the balances anet does keeps pvp ever changing. I also think we may see(for RA rather) an increase in strength based bull's charge warriors using swords to subdue kiters. Who knows though time will tell. After the AOE nerf I am glad to see the damage buffs for ele in the fire line.

I think Bloodspike may take more of a hold.

Well, practice stance got buffed, that means choking gas alone is possible to interrupt necro spike by him/herself. Unless those necro are willing to go mes or ele for the anti-interrupt, which would hinder their hall holding capablity.

Cry of furstration also make it pretty hard for them =/

dont see whats the big deal about blood spike
my balanced groups run through it like nothing

their spike is slow, easy for a good infuser to get and its easy to pressure/shutdown that within the first 45 seconds after a few failed spike attempts they are already playing defensively, ive even seen some put up fertile in defense ;/

Blood spike will be the new FOTM, altho i got a feeling that if its used anymore than it currently is, builds will start to take more counters for it, now that a warder isnt a must-have for IWAY protection theres more room to play.

Would be nice to see balanced teams return, but itll be the same as usual, people will just copy what they see winning halls, which is either necro spike or some lame "balanced" build with the equivilent of 8monks and 0dmg just used to sit on altars.
